Students of Centro Educativo Naciones Unidas: Bringing Joy and Tradition to Our Community

This past Saturday, May 4th, students from Centro Educativo Naciones Unidas brought joy and tradition to our elders through the "Focused Visits" program, coordinated with dedication by teacher Elizabeth Arellano.

On this special day, second-year high school students came together to collect essential items, with valuable collaboration from teachers and families of CENU, as part of the preparation for the celebration at the ALMA nursing home. During this event, students had the opportunity to interact with the residents and offer them an unforgettable experience.

The celebration featured a variety of activities that warmed the hearts of all present. Among them, a lively folk dance performed by two of the group's students stood out, adding energy and beauty to our cultural traditions. Additionally, in a special moment, our students invited the elderly to join the fun, sharing laughter and dance steps in a moment of camaraderie and joy. Moreover, a mini violin concert was offered, captivating the audience with musical talent.

The smiles on the faces of our elders were evidence of the positive impact of this initiative, made possible by the commitment of Elizabeth, the generosity of our students, the support of the participating teachers, and the collaboration of CENU families.

At Centro Educativo Naciones Unidas, we value empathy and solidarity. We want to thank everyone involved for their dedication to making this beautiful event possible and for contributing to improving the lives of those around us. Together, we continue to make a real difference in our community.
